We plant trees in areas poor in vegetation, trees that have a high level of CO2 capture. Reforestation is a way to take care of the soil, because when trees are planted, the roots create an underground network that fertilizes the soil, trying to ensure that the soil is not bare, but rather that it has the greatest possible amount of organic coverage. This means that we are not only helping nature, but we are also doing our part to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the air.

At Finca “La Cierva”, we also ensure that our cows drink high-quality water throughout the year thanks to our natural rainwater collection system. Likewise, through regenerative cultivation and grazing techniques, we ensure the maintenance of soil fertility. This means that through our nitrogen crops or good use of the land-livestock balance, the soil has naturally greater fertility.
